Snow!
The month of March began with a surprise as a heavy fall of snow fell on the 1st day of the month. There was excitement in the air (along with some snowballs!) as we reveled in the unique sight.
Book Fair
The annual Scholastoc Book Fair was held at the start of March. Girls excitedly bought books for themselves and were delighted with their choices. Older girls helped the younger children to read their books which everybody enjoyed. The commission from the Book Fair is used to buy books for the classroom libraries so the love of reading can continue to grow!
Slán Ms. Gillan!
We bid farewell to Ms. Gillan who has retired after giving so many years of service to our school. We have always loved the fantastic musical talent she has shared with the school since she began teaching in St. Brigid’s. Though we are sad to see her go, we wish her the best of luck with retirement. We look forward to seeing (and hearing her singing!) as she visits us again in the future.

Soccer Success!
The school’s soccer team continues to have fantastic wins and make us all extremely proud of them!
Earth Day
International Earth Day fell on the 22nd of April and all the girls played their part to support the environment. Some classes came together to plant seeds while others went down to the garden for gardening activities.
